    • Labour law violation: 14 workers arrested in Oman

    The Ministry of Labor, represented by the General Directorate of Labor Welfare, recently organized an inspection campaign at a travel and tourism office, and 14 workers were arrested on tourist visas and family joining visas in violation of the provisions of the Labor Law,

    legal measures are being taken against them.

    The family joining visa is granted to an expatriate worker’s spouse and children while tourist visas are issued to those coming on short trips to the Sultanate
