Muscat: The Directorate General of Scouts and Guides, in cooperation with the Environment Authority and the Oman Holding Company for Environmental Services, organized a national campaign for a clean environment under the slogan / Our Oman is more beautiful / in the governorates of Muscat, North Al Batinah and South Al Sharqiyah.
180 scout leaders, volunteers and those interested in the environment participated in the campaign, where the participants divided into three sites, including Al-Seeb Beach in the Governorate of Muscat and Shiaa Beach in the Wilayat of Sur in the Governorate of Al Sharqiyah South, in addition to Sohar Beach in the North Al Batinah Governorate.
The campaign included educating community members on the importance of preserving the environment from pollution, preserving its natural resources, achieving a sustainable environment, holding awareness competitions and forming work teams to implement cleanliness campaigns on beaches.
