Muscat: Oman announces list of Activities Exempted during night lockdown in Oman from March 28

List of activities exempted from the night -time closure of business and movement ban of individuals & vehicles that will come into effect from Sunday, March 28 till Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 8lm to 5am.

The activities Exempted from the night lockdown follows:

1- Transport of health workers, emergency vehicles and emergency services, electricity and water only.

2- Private hospitals

3- Pharmacies through the night shift, as regulated by the Ministry of Health.

4-  Airports and Seaports.

5- Trucks of all kinds from three tons and above, water tanks and tanks for transporting sewage water.

6- Work in factories, while employees are not allowed to move outside the factory during the period of night movement ban.

7- Unloading and loading operations in factories and warehouses, while not allowing the movement of employees outside the factory or warehouse during the night movement ban period.

8- Oil fields.

9 – Workers in public and private press and media institutions whose nature of work requires attending these institutions during the period of prevention of movement. The Ministry of Information will be providing them with a license to do so.

10 – Fuel stations on a shift system through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and investment promotion in coordination with marketing companies.
