    Lobster fishing season begins in Oman tomorrow

    Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources announces the start of the lobster fishing season for this year 2024, starting from Tuesday, October 1, until Sunday, November 30.

    While the Ministry thanks fishermen and carriers for their commitment during the ban on fishing and trading lobsters, it stresses the importance of adhering to fishing according to the specified season period, and using the fishing method approved by the Ministry, which is lobster cages only, in order to preserve this important resource from the risk of depletion, and to sustain its stock.
