Muscat: Majid Al Futtaim announced a new date for the opening of the “Mall of Oman” which is set to open on September 2021, which was earlier announced as March 2021.

This revised new opening has been determined, based on the readiness of the Oman’s tenant partners in the “Mall of Oman” and to ensure that they have sufficient time, support and resources to properly equip their new stores.

Mall of Oman is set to become Majid Al Futtaim’s fifth and largest shopping mall in the Sultanate, and extends over a total retail area of 145,000 square meter, in addition to multiple food outlets.

The shopping centre will include 350 retail stores, and will also contain Oman’s largest “Vox Cinemas”, a family entertainment centre, “Magic Planet” and a “Carrefour Hypermarket” over an area of 12,100 square meters, and an indoor snow park.
