Muscat: The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority said that the rescue teams at the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in Al Dhahirah Governorate responded to a report that a citizen had fallen from the top of a mountain in Yanqul state, where the teams were able to reach him and bring him down while he was dead.
The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority called for the need to follow safety procedures and avoid taking risks while practicing mountain climbing.
