    • Man dies after soil collapse on him during maintenance work in Liwa, Oman

    Liwa: The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority said that the rescue teams in the North Al Batinah Governorate dealt with a report of the detention of a worker due to a collapse of soil on him while he was performing maintenance work on a well in the Harmoul area in Liwa.

    The authority stated that the teams were able to rescue him, he died.

    It is noteworthy that the state of Ibri witnessed last week a rockslide in a quarry, which resulted of 13 deaths, with one missing person, and the search for him is still ongoing.
