Muscat: Many arrested for violating labour law after Ministry of Labour (MoL) inspection campaign on labour gatherings and raided houses

In a statement Ministry of Labour said: The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Office of the Joint Inspection Team in the General Directorate of Labor in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, carried out an inspection campaign on labor gatherings and raided some homes in the Wilayat of Bahla (Al Ghafat). A number of expatriate workforce were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labor Law, and legal measures are being taken against them
