    • Masirah Island is the first healthy island in Eastern Mediterranean Region

    Muscat: The World Health Organization announced today that Masirah Island has obtained an international recognition certificate as the first healthy island in the Eastern Mediterranean Region.

    The organization will hand over the certificate of international recognition to the Ministry of Health in an official ceremony to be held next Sunday on Masirah Island under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health.
