As for the Green Mountain Road project (Jabal Al Akhdar), His Excellency said that the project is in the final steps, and is based on the studies of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the return on investment from it, and the options that the Ministry of Housing came up with will be discussed and considered, and it is not possible now to determine the type of road that will be constructed.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning had stated in its media meeting to present its plan for the year 2023 that it is working to complete the directions of future cities, including preparing the Green Mountain plan and completing it during the current year at a rate of 100% and launching the project’s identity, as the plan works to highlight the Green Mountain as a multi-use investment destination. It works to raise the economic capabilities while preserving its geographical nature, as the plan is concerned with laying down the foundations and standards necessary for planning the region and reviewing the distribution of lands in it, including an integrated analytical study of all social, economic and tourism aspects.
