Muscat: Ahead of Eid Al Adha, the Muscat Municipality has set new working hours at the Al Mawaleh Central Market for Vegetables and Fruits.
Muscat Municipality said in a statement, “In view of the approaching Eid AlAdha for year 1444 AH, it was decided to extend the working hours of the central market for vegetables and fruits, to be from 4 am to 10 pm for wholesale and retail traders and consumers, until Wednesday 19 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1444 AH corresponding to June 27, 2023.
1. Work in the main umbrella (wholesale umbrella) from 4 am until 6 pm.
2. Entry for wholesale vegetables and fruits transport vehicles from Gate No. 1, 4 am to 10 pm.
3. Entry of consumer cars through the Gate No. 2 and Gate No. 5 from 4:00 am to 10:00 pm
4. All entry gates for individuals will be open from 4 am to 10 pm,
“The activity of the central market will stop on the first, second and third days of Eid Al Adha 144 AH. Work will resume in the central market on Saturday, July 1, 2023 according to the previously applicable dates,” the statement added.
