MCD Signs MoU with Qatar CDC

Muscat: Muscat Clearing and Depository (MCD) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Edaa (Qatar CDC) dealing with cooperation and coordination among central depository units in the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar.

The MoU was signed by Mohammed Said Al Abri, CEO of MCD and Sheikh Saif Abdullah Al Thani, CEO of Edaa. The MoU aims to exchange knowledge and expertise in all fields related to central clearing and depository and settlements in a bid to keep pace with international standards. – ONA
