    • MEDC Opens New Power Station in Al Amerat

    Muscat: The Muscat Electricity Distribution Company has operated its new electrical station in Al Amerat area – Phase II – in the Wilayat of Al Amerat, to be within the scope of the company’s electrical network spread in the Governorate of Muscat.

    The company said that the new plant was commissioned after examining and testing the protection and control devices by the company’s engineers, to ensure its readiness and efficiency for operation, which will contribute to covering the increasing demand for energy in that region.

    It is worth noting that the company’s inauguration of this station comes as part of its annual plan to introduce new stations in the Governorate of Muscat and to accommodate the increasing annual demand for electricity to ensure the supply of subscribers with reliable and efficient electrical energy in the long term.
