Meeting of the Social Development Committee in the Wilayat of Salalah

Salalah: The Social Development Committee in the Wilayat of Salalah discussed today in a meeting a number of topics, including: studying and proposing social projects that serve the state according to the priority of its importance, and supporting volunteer work and its institutions, support and control, and clarifying the legal ways to practice it according to what it advised. The mechanism of enhancing the efforts made to improve the standard of living of the individual, family and society was also discussed. Through cooperation with the Municipal Council and the Zakat Committee in the state, and encouraging and supporting income-generating projects for individuals and families, especially social security families, low-income families and persons with disabilities.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Suhail Shammas, Wali of Salalah and members of the committee from various government agencies, clubs and families.
