Members of the Municipal Council in Sharqiyah North take Oath of Office, Elect Deputy Chairman

Ibra: Today, members of the Municipal Council in the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah took an oath in front of His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed Al Shamsi, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah and Chairman of the Municipal Council in the governorate, according to Article 14 of the Municipal Councils Law.

His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed Al Shamsi affirmed that the Council is relied upon in the next stage to play roles that contribute to working side by side with the rest of the sectors in the development and development of the province.

During the first meeting of the council, which was held at the headquarters of the Governor of North Al Sharqiyah in the state of Ibra, voting took place via the electronic application “Tanmia” to choose a vice-chairman, according to Article /15/ of the Municipal Councils Law, where Muhanna bin Muhammad Al-Fazari got the highest votes for the third term of the council.

During the meeting, permanent council committees were formed as mentioned in Chapter Five of the Executive Regulations of the Municipal Councils Law, which stipulated the formation of four permanent council committees from among its members as follows: the Legal Affairs Committee, the Social Affairs Committee, the Governorate Development Committee, and the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee.
