    • MERA announces the winners of ‘Message of the Prophets’ competition

    Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) announced the final results of the Prophet’s Message Competition for the year 1443 AH.

    The results were as follows:

    The Ministry will honor the winners over a period of three days, starting today, Monday, April 25, 2022 , until tomorrow, Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

    The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs launched the first version of the Prophet’s Message Competition on the 7th of this April, where its conditions were as follows:

    – The participant must be Omani

    – The contestant must be ten years old or under

    – The contestant enters his data through the submission page for the competition electronically, specifying the governorate in which he resides.

    – The participant is evaluated through the specific topics and whose conditions he abides by.

    – The participant must abide by the conditions of the competition according to the topic in which he participated, which are:

    First: Memorizing Juz Amma (mastering recitation and intonation and memorizing the mastered)

    Second: Memorizing specific hadiths (memorizing established hadiths)

    Third: Arab stories (understanding the meaning and memorizing proverbs)

    Fourth: Memorizing 100 verses of Poetry of Wisdom (memorizing the prescribed poems)

    The prizes for the competition, as announced by the Ministry, are as follows:
    First place: a car for each governorate
    Second place: a car for each governorate
    Third place: 1,000 riyals per governorate
