Decision Issued to Form Omani Hajj Delegation for 1445 AH

Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) issues a ministerial decision to form the Omani Hajj delegation for 1445 AH, headed by Sultan Said Al Hinai, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry.

The decision stipulated that Dr. Ahmed bin Ali bin Mubarak Al Kaabi would be Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Abdulaziz bin Masoud Al Ghafri would be Vice President for Pilgrims Affairs and Hajj Campaigns.

The decision was based on Royal Decree No. 99/6 defining the powers of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs and approving its organizational structure, and on the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree No. 120/2004 and its amendments, and on the executive regulations of the Civil Service Law issued by Civil Service Council Resolution No. 2010/9 and its amendments. Ministerial Resolution No. 2004/236 regarding the system for forming the Omani Hajj delegation and determining its competencies.

It is noteworthy that the Omani Hajj Mission performs a number of tasks and services, including: providing assistance to pilgrims and directing them to the procedures for performing rituals.
