“Message of Peace from Oman” Exhibition Held on Sidelines of United Nations Counter-Terrorism Week

New York: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs launched an exhibition titled “Message of Peace from the Sultanate of Oman” as part of Oman’s participation in the tasks of the 3rd United Nations Counter-Terrorism Week (CT Week).

The exhibition is organized in cooperation with the National Counter-Terrorism Committee.

In an opening speech, Dr. Mohammed Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, outlined Oman’s vision of consolidating human ties as a means of paving the way for sustainable peace.

The two-day exhibition showcases Oman’s experience in promoting the culture of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and mutual respect as measures to combat extremism and terrorism.

The exhibition was held under the auspices of Gilles Michaux, UN Undersecretary General for Safety and Security. – ONA
