MHT implements tourism project in fins area in Wilayat of Quriyat

Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) has signed a usufruct contract with Rihab Fins Tourism Company, affiliated with Sama Resorts Group, to develop a 4-star tourist resort project in the Fins area in the Wilayat of Quriyat in the Governorate of Muscat.

This is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to encourage tourism investment and enhance the readiness of tourism and hotel facilities that are relied upon to attract the growing local and international tourism movement.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry by His Excellency the Minister of Heritage and Tourism, and on behalf of the company by the representative of the company implementing the project. The project aims to provide more than 100 hotel rooms in the form of separate units that meet the requirements of local tourism, especially family tourism, by providing an outlet and privacy at the same time, in addition to other facilities such as restaurants, swimming pools, a multi-purpose hall and recreational activities that will add a distinctive tourist experience.

Note that in designing the project, consideration was given to employing the environmental content of the site, and the importance of enhancing the local community’s benefit from employment programs and providing tourism products with primarily local content.
