Dhofar: Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) organises 500 frankincense trees planting initiative with volunteer teams, tourist groups, site visitors and the local community in Dhofar Governorate.
With the broad participation of a number of volunteer teams, tourist groups, site visitors, and the local community, the Ministry organized an initiative to plant 500 frankincense trees in the Wadi Dokah Reserve in the Dhofar Governorate, in conjunction with the inclusion of the Frankincense Land sites on the World Heritage List on 2nd December of each year, in cooperation with the investing company. The reserve is experiencing waves, as this comes with the official start of the frankincense season this evening.
