Riyadh: Organized by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, promotion makeshift workshops on Oman’s tourism potentials kicked off in Riyadh today. After Riyadh, the organizers will tour the cities of Dammam and Jeddah.
The workshops bring together 15 Omani companies and more than 150 companies from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The participants include travel agencies, tour operators and representatives of hotels and tourism destinations in Oman.
The events highlight Oman’s picturesque nature, tourism landmarks and historical sites. They currently focus on attracting tourists to Oman during the Khareef (monsoon) season, which lasts from June to September. – ONA
