    • Minister of Interior meets Chairman and members of Supreme Committee of the Shura Council

    Muscat: Sayyid Hamoud Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, held a morning here today with the Chairman and members of the Shura Council’s 10th Term Election’s Supreme Committee.

    During the meeting, Sayyid Hamoud commended the committee’s dedication to its mission as a supervisory and monitoring body. He wished the panel success during the forthcoming period of elections. For his part, Sheikh Al Mokhtar Abdullah Al Harthy, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court, Chairman of the Elections Supreme Committee, spoke about the roles of the committee as it oversees the elections over a period of two voting days in Oman and abroad.

    He expressed his appreciation for the technical updates made by the Ministry of Interior to election apps “Intakhib” and “Intikhab”. The meeting was attended by Eng. Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Chairman of the Main Committee of Elections.  – ONA
