    • Minister of Interior meets governors

    Muscat: Sayyid Hamoud Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, met here today with the Governors at the General Office of the Ministry of Interior.

    Al Budaidi lauded the efforts exerted during the last period in developing governorates and augmenting the performance of local administration. He underscored the importance of pressing ahead with work in line with the vision of His Majesty the Sultan regards to the governorates.

    The Interior Minister emphasized on the importance of listening to citizens and keeping in touch with their needs.

    The Minister of the Interior also lauded the outcomes of the municipal councils symposium and encouraged benefitting from those in a manner that serves the action and roles of municipal councils.

    Moreover, the meeting reviewed several topics within the agenda of the meeting and took appropriate decisions.  – ONA
