Ministerial Decision to cancel fees of 20 government service in MoCIIP

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, (CIIP) has issued a decision to cancel fees for 20 government services.

His Excellency Qais Al-Youssef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion issued Ministerial Resolution No. 292/2023 canceling some fees for services provided by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.

Article (1) of the decision stipulates the cancellation of fees for services provided by the Ministry mentioned in the ministerial decisions referred to, in accordance with the appendix attached to this decision.

Appendix No. (1) provides an explanation for the canceled services provided by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, which are:

– Licence to sell liquid petroleum gas cylinders

– Obtain a copy of the post-grant patent for companies

– Obtain a copy of the post-grant patent for small businesses

– Obtaining a copy of the patent after granting it to students and researchers

– Obtain a copy of the corporate patent register

– Obtaining a copy of the patent register for small enterprises

– Obtain a copy of the patent register for students and researchers

– View the order history for one time only for companies

– One-time order history view for small businesses

– View the application history for one time only for students and researchers

– Announcing the acceptance of applications for companies

– Announcing the acceptance of applications for small enterprises

– Announcing the acceptance of applications for students and researchers

– Promotional offers permit application

– Request a license to display instant prizes

– Request a license to display coupons and raffles

– Apply for a Scratch & Win offer license

– Request for Marketing Card Permit (Discount Card)

– Reduction Permit Request (Discounts)

– Liquidation permit application

Article (2) stipulates that everything that contradicts this decision or contradicts its provisions shall be abolished.
