Muscat: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth will hold its 2026 media meeting next Sunday to review its most prominent achievements and performance indicators recorded during 2025, in addition to presenting its future directions, programmes and strategic projects in the culture, sports and youth sectors.
The meeting will highlight programmes and initiatives implemented across the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman during the past year, as well as indicators related to digital transformation, international partnerships and cooperation, and major national projects aligned with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
The Ministry will also review its efforts to strengthen Omani identity, empower youth, develop the sports sector, support cultural and creative industries, and improve service efficiency and infrastructure.
The meeting will further address the social impact of cultural, sports and youth programmes and activities.
In addition, the Ministry is expected to unveil new programmes aimed at empowering youth and talented individuals and utilizing their capabilities across various fields.
The meeting will also include updates on several strategic initiatives and projects, including the Sayyid Tariq bin Taimur Cultural Complex, the National Youth Strategy project and expansion plans for youth centre programmes in different governorates.
