    • Ministry of Economy receives IMF Article IV Mission

    Muscat:  The Ministry of Economy received here today the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Article IV consultation which is hosted by the Sultanate of Oman till 15 November 2023.

    The meeting discussed several topics, including the progress made in the national programme for economic diversification “Tanweea”, the labour market, recruitment and initiatives to enhance the work environment. It also touched on programmes related to boosting the role of small and medium enterprises in the economy.

    Moreover, the meeting was attended by Dr. Nasser Rashid Al Maawali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy. – ONA
