Ministry of Education reviews development projects in Muscat

Muscat: Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, met with Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education today to review the plans and efforts of the Ministry of Education and its developmental projects in various educational fields in Muscat Governorate.

During the meeting, a visual presentation was given about the Ministry, its objectives and powers, and the most important educational statistics related to Muscat Governorate, in addition to discussing the importance of digital transformation and employing modern technologies in school curricula.

The meeting reviewed the recruitment and transfer controls of the Ministry of Education, and the role of the Specialized Institute for Vocational Training in developing teachers’ performance, in addition to the study plan, curriculum development, educational evaluation, and achievement levels of students’ performance.

The Ministry’s development projects in Muscat Governorate were also discussed in accordance with the tenth five-year plan.

The meeting touched on Reviewing the development of school transportation and aspects of spending on education. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humaidi, Mayor of Muscat, and Their Excellencies the governors and officials from the Muscat Governorate and the Ministry of Education.
