Muscat: Ministry of Energy and Minerals reveals Omanisation rate in Oil and Gas companies
In a statement Oman news agency reported : The number of workers in petroleum companies operating in the Sultanate during the year 2020 AD amounted to about 19,766 workers, of whom 16,898 workers are Omanis, according to statistics from the Ministry of Energy and Minerals.
It also explained that the Omanization rate for companies operating in the upper and lower sectors in the oil and gas sectors amounted to about 85 percent in 2020, and an increase in the number of Omani employees by about 5.7 percent compared to 2019.
