Muscat: The Ministry of Finance issued 3 new circulars regarding attribution of insurances for the year 2022 /2023
The circulars came as follows:
Circular No. 2/2022 regarding insuring the contents of government treasuries and ensuring the safety of finance employees.
Circular No. 3/2022 regarding insurance for government vehicles.
Circular No. 4/ 2022 regarding attributing marine, air and land insurance on government imports.
The final account of the state for the fiscal year 2021, the expenses for the item “insurance on property and government treasuries” in 2020 amounted to (3,109,744) riyals, and in 2019 amounted to (2,504,790) riyals, while in 2018 it amounted to (1,991,1132) Omani riyals.
As for car insurance, it amounted to 1,705,051 Omani Riyals in 2020.
