The Ministry of Health would like to draw attention that it is currently carrying out insect investigation for vector-borne diseases across the Sultanate of Oman’s Governorates for three months.
Specialized roving fields teams, with identification cards indicating their place of work, are assigned to perform investigation mechanism.
These field teams are examining water sources, watersheds, and insects breeding sites in the residential, agricultural, and commercial areas. The work is requiring entering households and taking the needed swabs and samples.
To ensure the public interest as well the success of investigation, the Ministry hence call for citizens and residents full cooperation to facilitate the work process of the field teams.
Furthermore, the Ministry urges all the disregard rumors disseminated on these teams and seek official source for information.
