Ministry of Housing taken measures to terminate the services of 3 employees in Oman

Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Khalfan Al-Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, confirmed that the ministry had detected violations within it and referred them to the Public Prosecution and the Monitoring Authority.

His Excellency said in the media meeting today, that the Ministry had received reports and information from citizens through the “Ifsah” initiative, which were investigated and three of them were referred to the Public Prosecution and the State’s Administrative and Financial Control Authority.

His Excellency mentioned that the Ministry has taken measures to terminate the services of employees in the Ministry after the charges were proven against them and judicial rulings were reached against them.

The minister stressed the existence of a strong desire to maintain a high level of integrity in the ministry and reduce abuses, especially with decentralization and giving more powers to director generals in the governorates.
