Ministry of Labor organizes strategic project management forum in Salalah

Salalah: The “Role of human resources in supporting the management of Strategic Projects within the Concept of Good Governance” was the them of a forum organizes by the Ministry of Labour today.

The forum discussed ways to benefit from international experiences in the field of project management and good governance.

This came during the opening of the forum, which is organized today by the Ministry of Labor in cooperation with the “References for Conferences and Seminars” centre in Salalah and which lasts for two days.

The conference discusses the theoretical structures, legal and regulatory frameworks, mechanisms for applying good governance in strategic and related challenges and solutions.

The forum focuses on the latest scientific and practical developments in the field of research on “strategic project management with the concept of good governance” with the participation of a number of experts, researchers and stakeholders from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to highlighting the achievements, results and best practices that have been reached in this field through a number of papers. Work, visual presentations, panel discussions and practical experiments.

The forum aims to emphasize the importance of defining the requirements of good governance with roles and responsibilities within the Sultanate of Oman and strategic projects and their relationship to achieving sustainable development, in addition to presenting ideas and models for building a strategy to activate them and achieve sustainable development.

The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Sheikh Salim bin Mustahail Al-Maashani, Adviser at the Diwan of Royal Court.
