    • Ministry of Labour announces new fees for expat workers according to type of professions

    Muscat: In implementation of the Royal directives for the work permit discounted fees, the Ministry of Labour announces the new fees for non-Omani manpower according to the type of professions.

    The Ministry of Labour provides additional 30% discount for companies abiding by the Omanisation percentage

    The Commercial fees of OMR 201 – OMR 301 have been divided into 3 categories and Omanisation percentage will be determined for each of the three categories

    Category 1

    OMR 301 for senior and supervisory professions (managers, presidents, specialists, and consultants. OMR 211 ( 30% discount) for companies abiding by the Omanisation percentage.

    Category 2

    OMR 201 for technical and specialist and OMR 176 (30% discount) for companies abiding by the Omanisation percentage.

    Category 3

    OMR 201 for unskilled jobs and 141 for companies abiding by the Omanisation percentage.
