Muscat: Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Investment Promotion (MoCIIO) would like to bring to your attention that the ministry’s Investment Services Center continues to audit and monitor investment licenses under the Foreign Capital Investment Law.
In a statement MoCIIP said: The Investment Services Center at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion wishes to inform that it continues to audit and monitor licenses for all companies operating under the Foreign Capital Investment Law (2019/50) and its executive regulations. This is to ensure that these companies meet the required licensing conditions.
We would like to thank all companies that have complied with the law and the requirements stipulated in the executive regulations. However, we have identified some instances where companies have not fully complied, and as a result, we kindly remind all companies to adhere to the necessary conditions for obtaining an investment license. Non-compliance may lead to legal action as outlined by the law.
