    Muscat: The Ministry of Health celebrates the Omani Organ Donation Day, which falls on December 19, to commemorate the value of giving and solidarity in Omani society and to raise awareness of the importance of organ donation.

    Dr. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Busaidi, Director of the National Organ Transplantation Programme: Among the most notable achievements achieved during this year are 17 kidney transplants, the reactivation of the corneal transplant program, and an increase in the number of those registered in the Shifa app for post-mortem organ donation to reach 11,262.
