    • MOH conducts campaign to control Aedes Egyptie mosquito in Oman

    Muscat: MOH is conducting a campaign to control Aedes egyptie mosquito that transmits dengue fever main symptoms are fever, joint pain, and body ache.

    The presence of stagnant water at home or around it can help this mosquito to reproduce and transmit the disease. Common breeding sites are found in: A/c water collecting tubs. Accumulated tires, fountains, vase, animal water plates, plant pots etc.

    If you have any of these please get ride of them or clean regularly with brush and exchange with fresh water at least every 5 days
