No monkeypox cases so far in Oman: MOH
Muscat: The Ministry of Health, represented by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Center for Emergency Management, is following up on developments regarding the monkeypox virus after the World Health Organization declared “monkeypox” a public health emergency.
The Ministry of Health confirms the availability of laboratory tests necessary to diagnose the disease, and its direct and continuous coordination with the World Health Organization and international and regional organizations concerned with monitoring infectious diseases.
The Ministry also confirms that it has not recorded any case of the disease in the Sultanate of Oman so far, and calls on citizens and residents to follow the news issued by the official authorities to receive information from them.
