MOH Organizes 4th Health Leaders Form

Sohar: The 4th Health Leaders Form, organized by the Ministry of Health, kicks off today under the theme “Sustainability”.

The two-day forum seeks to follow up the developments associated with the health system in the Sultanate of Oman, the challenges it faces and ways to address them.

In a speech at the forum, Health Minister Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti stressed the importance of consolidating various patterns of cooperation and health integration. He laid emphasis on the need to study health issues, listen to different points of view and make proposals to overcome the difficulties facing the health sector and develop its operations.

“The Ministry of Health is developing a database to monitor the challenges that require interventions from central authorities and other sectors,” said Dr. Hilal.

During the forum, visual presentations were made about the initiative of the best primary health care institution, opportunities for health integration among governorates and success stories.

The forum also focused on the Ministry’s strategic programmes to achieve the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. This included a review of different projects implemented by the Ministry.  – ONA
