Salalah: The Labour Ministry’s second forum for grooming second line leaders began in Salalah today. The two-day forum is attended by 88 participants, including directors’ general, strategic planning directors, chief executive officers and human resources managers.

The forum discusses various topics of relevance like understanding the leadership system, commissioning and delegation of duties, guidance, and integration between emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence. It also underlines the skills that a leader must possess to enhance the chances of success among employees.

The forum focuses on achieving the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 in building the capabilities of employees and providing them with the knowledge and skills required to improve job performance.

Towards this goal, the forum looks into setting plans to qualify second line leaders in government units to prepare them to occupy future leadership positions, notably through strategies and plans to help them adapt to global challenges. – ONA
