Muscat: More than 1.4 million expats in private sector in Oman

The report indicated that there are / 31254 / expatriate workers working in the position of “manager” and / 60451 / expatriate workers specialized in scientific, professional and humanitarian subjects, / 40759 / technical foreign workers in scientific, technical and humanitarian subjects and / 1070 / foreign workers in clerical professional and / 95497 / foreign workers in sales professional and / 416123 / foreign workers in service professional and / 83593 / foreign workers in agricultural and animal husbandry professional and / 102,122 / foreign workers in industrial and chemical processes and food industries and / 572418 / foreign workers in basic auxiliary engineering professionals .

According to the sectors, the report clarified that / 382568 / expatriate workers work in the construction sector, / 205551 / foreign workers in the wholesale and retail trade sector and vehicle repair, / 174115 / foreign workers in the manufacturing sector, / 102,590 / expatriate workers in the sector of accommodation and food services, and / 65589 / workers.
