Muscat: More than 38000 under institutional quarantine in Oman

In a statement Oman news agency said: 38,389 people, the total number of isolated people in institutional quarantine since the beginning of this year, and 11,86 people are in institutional quarantine “currently” until the date of April 25, in 609 shelter centers across the Sultanate.

Hammoud bin Muhammad al-Mandhari, Relief and Shelter Sector Coordinator, indicated in a statement to the Oman News Agency that the flights coming to the Sultanate through Muscat International Airport are pre-scheduled flights, pointing out that the airport receives in the usual situation approximately 80 flights as a maximum between incoming and outgoing flights

The average number of passengers in it is between 2,500 and 3,000 passengers, indicating that all arrivals to the Sultanate who enter the territory of the Sultanate are treated according to the decisions of the Supreme Committee in terms of pre-examination procedures for polymerization and examination at the airport, then institutional isolation and examination for polymerization on the eighth day.
