Muscat: More than 70 KG of unfit food destroyed in North Al Batinah

The National Committee for Emergency Management announced through the account “Oman is ready” that the Municipality of North Al Batinah carried out a campaign to inspect and control food in the governorate, which resulted in the destruction of 77,809 kg of food in 98 stores in the wilayats of Khaboura, Suwaiq and the Bedaya area.

The Municipality of North Al Batinah also announced, through its official account on Twitter, that 31009 kilograms of food (fish, meat, vegetables and fruits) were seized and destroyed because they were not fit for human consumption, and 23,410 kilograms of food were destroyed because they were not fit for human consumption.
