Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development signed 4 support agreements with the Oman Fertilizer Company “OMIFCO” at a total cost of 130 thousand Omani riyals, at the Ministry’s general office.
The first agreement is concerned with financing the “Kader” program to provide study assistance to social security families and people with limited incomes.
The other three agreements relate to the support and provision of prosthetic devices to NGOs that provide services to persons with disabilities.
The first came in favor of the Omani Association for Persons with Disabilities, the second for the Omani Association for Persons with Hearing Disabilities, and the third for the Al-Noor Association for the Blind.
The agreements were signed by His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development on the Ministry’s side, and Qassim bin Mohammed Al Balushi, Director of Sustainable Strategic Planning and heads of NGOs, on behalf of the funded company.
