Muscat Stock Exchange Gains Nearly 55 Points
Muscat: The MSX 30 Index closed today’s trading session at 5,915.73 points, rising by 54.9 points, or 0.94 percent, compared to the previous close of 5,860.80 points.
Total trading value amounted to RO 40,769,158, marking a 12.2 percent decrease from the previous session’s turnover of RO 46,414,168.
According to the daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange, total market capitalization increased by 0.441 percent, reaching approximately RO 32.13 billion.
The value of purchases by non-Omani investors stood at RO 3,816,000, representing 9.36 percent of total trading. Their sales amounted to RO 4,625,000, accounting for 11.35 percent. Consequently, net foreign investment decreased by RO 810,000, reflecting a 1.99 percent decline.
