MSX Main Index Closes Lower by 0.73 Percent
Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed lower today, declining by 0.73 percent.
The MSX 30 Index ended the trading session at 6,191.05 points, down 23.1 points from its previous close of 6,214.18 points.
Total trading turnover reached RO 31,896,550, marking an increase of 4.9 percent compared to the previous session’s turnover of RO 30,405,455.
According to the MSX market report, overall market capitalization declined by 0.055 percent, reaching approximately RO 33.24 billion at the close of trading.
Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 2.919 million, accounting for 9.15 percent of total trading value, while their sales amounted to RO 3.275 million, representing 10.27 percent. This resulted in a net investment outflow of RO 356,000 by non-Omani investors.
