Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed lower today, slipping by 0.05 percent.
The MSX 30 Index ended the trading session at 5,944.80 points, declining 2.96 points from the previous close of 5,947.76 points.
Total trading turnover reached RO 29,362,140, reflecting a 2.29 percent decrease compared to the previous session’s value of RO 30,049,389.
According to the MSX market report, the overall market capitalization edged down by 0.024 percent, settling at approximately RO 32.15 billion.
Trading activity by non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 3,104,000, representing 10.57 percent of total trading value, while sales amounted to RO 1,888,000, accounting for 6.43 percent. This resulted in a net investment inflow of RO 1,216,000, marking an increase of 4.14 percent.
