Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index “MSX 30” closed today at 8,224.85 points, down by 34.4 points, or 0.42 percent, compared to the previous session’s close of 8,259.25 points.
Trading value declined to RO 55.46 million, marking a decrease of 2.2 percent from RO 56.70 million recorded in the last session, according to the MSX report.
Market capitalization also dropped by 0.447 percent to approximately RO 38.25 billion compared to the previous trading day.
Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 7.08 million, representing 12.77 percent of total trading value, while sales stood at RO 6.78 million, accounting for 12.22 percent. Net non-Omani investment increased by RO 302,000, or 0.54 percent.
