MTC signs MoC with Oman Fiber Optic

Muscat: The Military Technical College signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Oman Optical Fiber Company, to train and build educational and research capabilities at the college’s headquarters.

The memorandum was signed by Brigadier General Staff Joy (Engineer) Muhammad bin Aziz Al-Siyabi, Dean of the Military Technical College, and on behalf of the Oman Optical Fiber Company, Eng. Muhammad bin Harith Al-Barashdi, CEO of the company.

The memorandum of cooperation includes the provision of training programs through which the trainees acquire basic knowledge and applied, technical and professional expertise in the field of optical fibers, and enhance the capabilities and competencies of technicians and specialists, in addition to providing the trainees with the required skills and capabilities in the field of fiber optic technology.

The signing was attended by a number of senior officers of the Military Technical College, and a number of those concerned with the Omani Optical Fiber Company.
