Muscat: The Village of Wadi Al Hyool in the Wilayat of Mahdha in the Governorate of Al Buraimi is famous for the cultivation of many seasonal agricultural crops such as fruits and vegetables, particularly the cultivation of mulberries, locally knows as “Fursad” which is one of the trees that are widely planted int home gardens.
The cultivation of mulberries is one of the crops that have many health nutritional benefits, as it is rich in antioxidants, dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals. This type of fruit protects the body from the risks of cancer, heart and digestive diseases.
The village of Wadi Al Hyool is unique in the abidance of water that flows throughout the year to irrigate seasonal crops such as grapes, mulberries, figs, guava, mango, bannas, lemons, pomegranates, and the cultivation of garlic and onions, among other crops.
