Sohar: The Municipal Council of North Al Batinah Governorate today discussed a list of priority development projects for implementation in the governorate for the current year (2023), which were approved by the Ministry of Economy, in addition to following up on the areas affected by damage due to the rains in the villages of Wadi Shafan and Wadi Al Sarmi in the Wilayat of Al Khaboura. and the recommendations it contained.
The meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mohammed bin Suleiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah and Chairman of the Council, reviewed the results of the meeting of the Council’s Legal Affairs Committee on a number of service issues, and appropriate recommendations thereon.
His Excellency emphasized the role of Council members in society and their direct proximity to citizens in their states, pointing out the need to continue studying the Council and consider the issues that were discussed in the Council previously, and follow up on its decisions and recommendations that achieve the message of the Council.
